Hugo Demaret
Computer Science Student
I am a master sudent at Ecole Polytechnique (Master Foundation of Computer Science | MPRI), in Paris, France. Previously, I was a bachelor student at Université Paris Cité.
I am currently a research intern at the University of Caen, working within the AMACC team of the Groupe de Recherche en Informatique, Image et Instrumentation de Caen (GREYC | UMR 6072), under the supervision of Paul Dorbec. Our research focuses on domination in maximal planar graphs.
Previously, I completed a research internship at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Sciences du Numérique (LISN | UMR 9015), under the supervision of Hoang La and François Pirot. The goal of that project was to study the Fractional Domatic Number (FDOM) in graphs with small minimum degree, using techniques from structural graph theory and probabilistic methods.
I am deeply interested in combinatorics, graph theory and the probabilistic method.
